BOGS Alton Baker Park,

Aug 30, 2018

One of the few days which were not terribly hot before Noon. The group (Janet, Nancy, Donna, Doris and Priscilla), chose to walk from Campbell Center to Alton Baker Park. The group was particularly "chatty" on this day, so attention was scattered and some possible Red Crossbills were only seen by me (Priscilla). The highlight of the trip was the viewing of several MINK across the Millrace near Kowloon Restuarant. I had to yell "MINK!" twice to get the attention of several people who were engaged in conversations. If there had only been one Mink, they would have missed seeing it. Fortunately, this doesn't happen often.
