Flopped in low from the east fog while I was scoping the eagles in their tree.
Eagles noticed him 2 seconds later, flew over to tag-team, and badgered him as he barked
at his bad luck. After a minute or so of quarrel, he dropped a vole.
BAEAs dove, Young Eagle stole the vole, both returned to roost, and Grouchy Owl
flew back into the fog.

Number observed:1
Details:Heard a loud raucous behind me while walking east on summit lane
just past south trail. Noticed a large group of crows harassing something high above
the open field between south and hawthorn trails and with bins could see pale owl
with pronounced facial disc, dark carpal bars and wing tips from below,
taking very deep wing beats attempting to evade the angry mob.
In the field, the bird appeared tuftless and seemed to have fine streaking
on breast and throat.
