Joel Geier, Ground Water Consultant will give a presentation titled "Acorns, Buntings and Cabernet: 200 years of change in the Willamette Valley and effects on native ecosystems."
The emphasis will be on changing agricultural practices and their impacts on breeding birds and other wildlife

Oct 18, 2018 Presentation Jim Anderson, a delightfully entertaining life-long consultant in Oregon (on bird-related issues), will speak about his recent work on Golden Eagles nesting and survival. Lead bullets in jackrabbits continue to be the major source of fatalities.
Oct 25, 2018 Bird walk. Bird walk leader, Steve Barron will be away having shoulder surgery. Floyd Weitzel has agreed to lead the bird walk. Destination will be announced at BOGS Oct 18
Nov 1, 2018 Presentation Pat Boleyn, LCC Biology Faculty, will present on "A Walking Safari with the Maasai", based on her two-week experience working with the Maasai youth.
Nov 8, 2018 Bird Walk Bird walk leader, Steve Barron will be away having shoulder surgery. Floyd Weitzel has stepped up and will lead the bird walk.
Destination to be announced at BOGS Nov 1.
Nov 15, 2018 Presentation David Stone, Nature Photographer, will present "Wild Critters wih Dave Stone".
