BOGS late additions,

 Mar 31, 2017

The photos on this page have been added to the slideshows for the particular trips on which they were taken. However, since some folks may have viewed those slideshows before these late additions were added, I thought I would put the late additions in their own space as well.

There are two photos of a Red-spotted Garter Snake (thamnophus sirtalis concinnus) in the Stewart Pond slideshow. I came across another of this species on a solo trip to EWEB Wetlands Mar 13. This snake was a little brighter and I was able to get quite close to it so I've included those. (NOTE: there are numerous subspecies of Garter Snakes, but this one is easily recognized by the orange-red color on the face).
