The weather was cool, dry and cloudy.

  8. Osprey

  11. Spotted sandpiper
  12. Rock pigeon
  13. European starling
  14. Vaux’s swift
  15. Anna’s hummingbird
  16. Kingfisher

  2. Tree swallow
  3. Violet-green swallow

NOTES:
The next two to three weeks will be the best time to see migrating warblers,
which will be coming north as the native trees bloom (chiefly maples and oaks).
They will be feeding on the insects which collect in the flowers.
As the leaves come out, the warblers will be harder to see.
Good places to find warblers are Skinner’s Butte and along the river,
like the Delta Ponds areas.
